Extension and Alterations to form open plan kitchen/ dining space and Garage conversion into habitable bedroom . The proposal was to remove  part of the wall between the kitchen and utility room  (a poor quality rear extension) thus forming the new kitchen diner space.  The roof has been replaced for an unventilated  sloped roof with frosted roof windows.  Also the proposal was  to convert the existing garage into a bedroom, careful consideration was given to regulation compliance in terms of water and weather proof and thermal upgrading. Our intention was therefore to create a modern intervention, with reference to the original building through the use of materials and elements to match the existing style.
