Erection of a mansard roof extension and Conversion of the existing single residential unit into 3x self-contained residential units. These 3 storey mid terrace is located in Tulse Hill, on Norwood Road immediately to the west of Tulse Hill Rail Station. It is within a terrace of eight three-storey buildings. The ground floors within the terrace are in commercial use, the upper two floors in the terrace in residential use.
The proposed development seeks to extend and alter the existing premises to form three self contained new 1 bedroom flats (38 sqm) and retain the one ground floor retail unit (66 sqm) . The front and rear walls are retained and internal walls and roof to be rebuilt. Externally, a new rear terrace, timber fence, bin storage and cycle shelter with Landscaping is to be provided. The project gained planning permission from Lambeth Council in September 2016. Construction works will begin in March 2017 and has a scheduled completion date of Q4 2017.
